Leave:Holidays11-12 paid holidays per year.
Annual10-24 days per year depending on length of service.
Sick8 hours a month for all full time employees.
Petty22 hours a year for all full time employees.
Insurance:HealthPremiums are paid by the Health Department for employees. Family coverage may be purchased by employees.
OtherAFLAC, Dental, Hospital Indemnity plans may be purchased by employees as a payroll deduction
Retirement:NC StateEmployees participate in the NC State retirement system.
401k PlanThe NC State 401k plan is available for employees who wish to contribute.
Longevity Bonus:After completing five years of service with Caswell County, employees become eligible for a bonus in the amount of 1% - 4% (depending on length of service) of annual salary. The bonus is distributed in early December.
Mileage Reimbursement:The Health Department reimburses employees for company use of their personal automobile at the current IRS rate.
On-Call Pay:There is a reimbursement plan for employees who are required to be on call. The pay varies with the type of duties that are required.
